Our Board of Directors:
Steven A. Vetterlein
Qualifications: A Penn State Graduate with 5 years experience raising funds, collecting goods and raising
awareness on behalf of Ukrainian Orphans. Made several humanitarian trips to Ukraine, has visited the
orphanages, spent a total of 4 weeks at summer camps for orphans in the mountains of Western Ukraine,
authored the book; "Mountains of Grace", a true story about these orphans (Xlibris Publishing). Was honored with
the "2002 Humanitarian Award" given by the UABA (Ukrainian American Bar Association). Had been involved for 14
years as a volunteer and event coordinator for the MS-150 Bike Tours for the National MS Society in Philadelphia.

Duties: Is the Executive Director and Founder. Advocates our cause, created & maintains the UOCFP web site,
writes articles, organizes our programs, the humanitarian aid drives, and is basically the driving force behind the
organization.

Dr. Roxolana Horbowyj
Qualifications: Dr. Horbowyj is a General and Critical Care Surgeon currently working in Washington, DC. She is
also a Vice President of the "World Federation of Ukrainian Medical Associations" (WFUMA) and has been
involved in the organization of HIV/AIDS Forums and Conferences, including the "Aids in Ukraine Awareness
Weekend" held in Philadelphia. As this infection is a major problem in Ukraine (19% of Ukrainian youth, ages 15
and up are already infected with HIV), and there is a notable rise in HIV infected children entering the orphanages,
she will provide us with help and a most valuable understanding to this situation.

Duties: A Board Member who will help us with our humanitarian efforts, provide insight, energy and direction to our
grassroots organization.


Della Curley
Qualifications: A compassionate adopted mother of 2 Ukrainian orphans. Has traveled to Ukraine twice and has
first hand knowledge and true understanding of how bad & critical things are there for these disadvantaged children.
Personally has raised funds and sent necessities (medicine, clothes and toys) to 2 orphanages in the town of
Kramatorsk in Eastern Ukraine. Started her own small relief organization called: "Caring for Kramatorsk". Has now
joined forces with our organization.

Duties: A Board Member who has helped us on our fundraising events and our humanitarian efforts and will be our
main organizer for orphanage relief ideas and drives in Eastern Ukraine.


Raissa Tkach
Qualifications: Has worked with children with disabilities, medically fragile children and hospitalized children both in
the United States and abroad. Spent time volunteering her Therapeutic Recreation Skills while working with the
children affected by the Chernobyl disaster at the Regional specialized Children's Hospital in Lviv, Ukraine. A few
years following this experience, Raissa went on to earn a Master's Degree in International Service.

Duties: A Board Member who will help us with our humanitarian efforts, provide insight, energy and direction to our
grassroots organization.


Ulana Chmara
Qualifications: A graduate of Drexel University with a BS in Business Administration with concentration in
Economics and in International Area Studies. Is an outstanding member of the Ukrainian American Youth
Association (UAYA) and a graduate of the Lesia Ukrainka School of Ukrainian Studies. Currently, she is a
volunteer as a youth counselor at the UAYA Philadelphia branch.

Duties: A Board Member who will help us with our humanitarian efforts, provide insight, energy and direction to our
grassroots organization. Will also spearhead our effort to get grants (private and corporate) to help propel us to the
next level in the coming years.
