[Revised 3-12-04]

Why a film?

First of all, this is the best way to promote our cause and our charity, and the most feasible way we
can raise any serious funds. It's hard to gain any attention when you are so small and new, and
even harder to get any financial backing. Even with this web site, we have NEVER received any
funds from it! We get requests for help, but no offers to help us financially. Other ways have helped,
like our fundraiser in January, but unfortunately will still not provide us with enough funds to make
any kind of serious impact.

We have great expectations that this film will get the publics attention and take our cause & help to
the next level. Also on the positive side, we have been offered the help of a well known producer of
documentary films in New York City to help us edit it and promote it. With his most generous help,
there is a good possibility that we can be very successful with this project, thus allowing us to
accomplish the many things we need to. Without his help, this film would most likely never be a
reality. Without the film, few will ever know or care about us and our cause.

The Film:

A "SHORT" will be made first. This will be approximately 2 hours of raw film made into the 5 minute
short. The purpose is to show it to the financial people in the TV & Film industry, with the hopes that
we could get funding to make a full version documentary film. Already in the works is our itinerary,
story and contacts in Ukraine who will be ready to assist us.

We can't change the economic or political situation, but we can help with the best tool to change
ones life, and that is to help provide an education for those less fortunate than ourselves.

Our goal with this film is to provide some kind of future for the victims of this situation, the
children who are ready to exit the boarding schools, and in many cases, with no where to go.

The most effective way to reach people's emotions is by film. This form of media shows life in three
dimension. You get to feel, see and hear firsthand about someone's life. This knowledge and
experience is much more effective than just a still life or photograph of an individual or landscape.
We honestly think the only way people will become interested in these orphans and street kids is to
actually experience via film these kid's lives, and to see it first hand. This is truly the only real way
we can inspire people to help us help these orphans. To the best of our knowledge, no up-to-date
film exists today on this subject. Your support or ideas will be appreciated!

Method of distribution:

Besides the people who will see our short, we will also send out copies to educational networks,
schools, civic groups and cultural centers throughout America and even Ukraine. And we will
probably send copies to documentary & TV talk shows. Additional requests for the film will be
processed through this web site.

Proceeds from the film: (See our "SCHOLARSHIP FUND")

FILM UPDATE:

Postponed until further notice, but we still hope to make it in 2004! Financial support is needed! We
also welcome Ariane Dewandre, of the Louvain-la-Neuve University, near Brussels, Belgium, who will
be working with us on this film!
