To do everything humanly possible to improve the quality of life of the orphans and other disadvantaged children in the country of Ukraine. We will continue to be an honest, viable, worthwhile and responsible charity that will help these children become responsible adults and work towards ways to provide them with the tools for a future.

On July 13th of 2000, 2 ordinary people flew to Paris and set out on an incredible bicycle journey across Europe. The ride got off to a bad start, as it was the coldest July on record all across most of Europe. When we flew into France, it was raining and only 45 degrees! After training in typical hot July weather here in Philadelphia, we were not ready for such conditions!
Paris - Strasbourg - Heidelberg - Berlin - Wroclaw - Warsaw - L'viv
After 4 weeks on the road, we made it to our first summer camp for orphans in the Carpathian Mountains. There, we spent another 2 weeks with over 300 children, a truly enlightening experience! You can read more about this in our book.
